Dr. Christopher Elia
Dr. Chris Elia is a dual-fellowship trained neurosurgeon specializing in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, renowned for his expertise in the comprehensive management of spinal disorders. He believes a healthy spine is the foundation of a healthy life and emphasizes creating individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s unique needs and surgical goals.
After completing his neurosurgery residency at Riverside University Health System, Dr. Elia pursued advanced fellowship training at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, WA, where he specialized in complex spinal deformity surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, and endoscopic spine surgery. He went on to complete an additional spine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, learning from world-renowned experts in both neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery. This dual training has positioned Dr. Elia at the forefront of spine surgery, with a diverse skill set for treating the most complex spinal conditions.
